i am getting very annoyed by this

ok this is realllly pissing me off..all this time i have had bf2 i have had no problems what so ever...and starting like 4 days ago i have been having connection problems..im in a game everythings going fine then a connection problem for about 5 seconds and then i get disconected from the server..sometimes ill be fine for like an hour but then ill get it..if i rejoin the server probably 10 minutes later or so ill get it again and get disconected..i have added all the ports people have posted and that doesn't work..it's not my computer because i have a good graphics card and bf2 has been fine until now..i have been searching the net everywhere but cant find anything. It would be really great if u guys can help me. Thanks.

You might have a Punkbuster issue. Visit the punkbuster website and download their latest tool to update your punkbuster and see if that resolves your issue.

KIA Multiplay servers boot me constantly. Doesn't matter which one I join it's connection lost after 20 mins or so. I don't know if it's the quality of the server or connection or what but I just don't bother with those anymore. EA official ones tend to be about the best overall for me even though I still get kicked from time to time. And yes I update PB and shut down programs, turn firewall off etc and it still does it.

I already have ad aware and run it every day. Sometimes you just gotta stop blaming the hardware/setup/configs and put it down to good old fashioned bad coding. I'm sure most of these connection problems will magically vanish after the 1.3 patch.

I get this problem all the time. And like you I have a good system and all the rest but the game is so erratic! I just quit the game a minute ago because every time I joined a server I am given the 'Connection to serer lost' message (or curse).

I really hope the next patch fixes this! Sometimes I can play an hour and other times only a minute.

hummm maybe 1.03 will be just as bad or even worse...no way to tell until it gets here...ive had the problem too, but i went away, and all i did was change the latency of my card...get a pci latency tool and play around with it...that and run at low priority...helps a bit
