No it isn't overheating this was just five minutes in game with 5 other guys, game wasn't even started yet. It has also nothing to do with memory as I have 2 gigs of it, no overclocking just a stock x850xt pe with omega (cat 5.7)

Yesterday finaly felt for SP2, needed this to install the new Cat 5.8 and hopefully I don't have these corruptions anymore with the new driver.

Will keep you informed.

try the new 5.8's - http://dlmdownloads.ati.com.edgesuit..._enu_25203.exe - don't forget that you need MS.netframework and its update's to run the CCC version of the drivers, hope that helps mate..

well iv tried EVERYTHING!!!! and all versions of every program, iv tried to recalibrate the hmz in bf2 and make them impossible for bf2 to change, iv tried to totally reinstall EVRYHTING. IV tried to reinstall windows and only install bf2 (so no antivir or firewall) iv tried to update ALL my hardware (bios, mboard, graff (all versions, new, old , homemade) iv tried to buy a new more powerfull grafficcard. u name iv tried it!!
but it STILL BLODDY CRASHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no texture errors dough)

The whole problem looks like overheating or a driver issue, I have an ATI Radeon x850 XT PE but I use DELL drivers(my computer is from DELL) for it instead of ATI Catalyst and get no issues.

oh its not overheating.. trust iv have both run all sorts of tests, and had sume surverliance programs in the background, + bf2 is the ONLY game iv had probs with
