Bf2editor - Bug???

iam currently working on a map and it is allmost complete but its missing effects like fire and smoke but every time i add anything out of the effects folder there disappear (i see the object for 1-2 secs then its gone)

please help !!! :cry:

is it a bug or some setting

I presume your going to "bf2 -> objects -> effects -> whatever"? its something like that... as they are just the things which happen in game like when you blow a vehicle up etc..

instead go to "bf2 -> objects -> static objects -> ambient effects -> static" and theres a few fire anims in there which will stay on the map :)

yes they do.
