id there a way to import objects from other maps such as the warehouse from oman or the building from karkand?

All of the objects are somewhere in the "bf2 -> objects -> static objects" part in the left bar, drag them into your map while in the level editor. It includes those buildings you mentioned, you just have to search around in there. Place it on the map, if its not what your looking for delete it and try another :)
