error after install 77.77 whql driver

  • error after install 77.77 whql driver





    i used to use 77.30 before there was no problem since i install the latest nvidia driver

    so i dont know why it happen and how could i fix it

    anyone can solve or do something with this problem ?


    my spec

    Windows XP - Professional with Service Pack 2 / Directx 9.0c

    Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHZ 3300 MHz with Hyper-Threading Technology
    L2 cache 1024 KB
    DDR SDRAM Dual Channels PC3200 256*2
    ASUSTek Computer Inc. P4P800SE
    NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700VE | 77.77 WHQL nVidia Driver
    Seagate Baracuda Harddisk Drive 80 GB
    LG FLATRON ez T711S

    Try rolling the driver back to 77.3, if they worked before they should work again. Were you having trouble before and that's why you went to 77.77?

      What he said =) I found performance improvement from the change, far fewer crashes now to be sure (though not completely gone). Did you COMPLETELY delete all traces of 77.30 before changing to the new drivers? also did you delete them then restart and then install the new ones?

        Looking at the warning message there it looks more like a BF2 file is missing. Might try completely reinstalling BF2?
