2MB line = 2 players using same connection

I was just wondering is ive just upgraded to a 2MB line, will 2 people be able to play the game on the same connection without latancy issues? I ask this as even though my d/l speed is 2MB's, the upload speed is still only 250K. Does this make a differance to online play or is it all about the D/l speed.

You should be able to, but there is never any guarantee so bite the bullet and try it :)

It's all about your upoad speed with online games. Download speed doesn't really make a difference over 512k. But, to answer your question, you can play games very comfortably using a 2mb down and 256k up shared between 2 people.

My wife and I play together without issues on 2Mbit down 1/2 Mbit up on Wireless so if WE can you should have no issues

Yup, I have a 2mb down and 256k up, when my mate brings his comp round for a lan, we can both use my connection comfortably at the same time, regardless of what game were playing.

I Have 3 systems on my LAN
(son, his friend and me)
3.0Mb DSL down and probably 3xx up
we have no problems with lag from our side
usually play on clan server with ping of 82

I use 1mb on 4 machines and its fine so 2mb should be ok!!!

Ive got 2 meg connection, no Idea up/downspeed, but Ive 4 systems playing bf2 online and a 25slot ts server running with no probs...
