help with ranked games

Ok, i read a bunch of thread, but could not find an answer. I just got the game, and i went to play on a ranked server(which takes about 5 years to load) and it says my game is modified or something. Or to go to the current version of BF2. Anyhelp? i have dont nothing to the program, James.

had the game for 3 hours, and have spent 2 hours in just load screens, so no, no patches.

go to the official ea site for bf2. d/l the latest patch. install it. then you can play.
