Map Menu Mouse Sensitivity Problem

I've had BF2 for about a week now and i've been having alot of trouble with the extreme mouse sensitivity in the kit menu and the commander menu. Both menus for some reason have a very high mouse sensitivity. I have all the mouse sensitivity settings set to 1 on every catagory in my options, and yet they seem to be different once I either of these menus.

My specs are:
AMD Athlon 2700+
1024 mb
Radeon 9800xt 256mb

My mouse is a Kensington Pilot Mouse Optical if that helps.

erm, maybe its your windows sensitivity is set on high? not every sure
