No "You killed ..." message as commander

I took a quick search of the forums for this, but haven't seen anyone mention this yet. Just a minor issue:

I noticed last night that when playing commander, I wasn't recieving the normal "You killed ......." message in grey on the bottom left of the screen. This was with either artillery or in normal combat. It would still come up with "MeCommanding [knife] SomeEnemy" in yellow at the top left of the screen.

I hadn't noticed this until last night, until I was playing a bit of "combat commander" on an fairly empty server. I just like to see the grey "You killed" text, as the stuff in the top left screen can scroll past pretty fast sometimes!

This happens as all events in the bottom left corner are events that scored you points.
Its odd I know but that is how it works as far as I can tell. So although you kill people, get no points for it, no message down the bottom left.

This is because commanders should be commanding, not blowing stuff up. Shame on you =P

Yeah, me too. I've only ever started mutinys when the commander won't get out of his jet. One time, I typed "Sorry for mutiny xxxxxxx, but you shouldn't be in a jet". He replied, "Yeah, you're right" and resigned!

Like I said, it was a 48 player server with just a few players on the team, so I was camping by a point and re-capping in when needed. I've played about five hours of commander total, and only just noticed this the other night. Usually I will always have my face buried in the map!
