Armored Service Ribbon: 20 Minutes in Tank/APC Vehicle, 14 kills in Tank/APC Vehicle.


Well answer me this

I was playing just now, 64 players operation clean sweep. I looked at the time the round started. it was 01:13, for around 5 minutes maximum i was in a heli, and got 10 kills in that heli. ALL the rest was me being either in a tank or apc, with minor things like waiting to respawn and getting in armor, but basically i was in one asap. The round ended at 02:00, i had 25 kills, 10 with the heli, if not, half of that was with armor, and the other 15 with armor. And i was in armor for WAY over 20 minutes.

The requirements are either incorrect. Or i somehow didnt get it. Which i should have. All of my kills past 10 were in a tank, and i even made sure i was sat in an apc for ages.

What have i done wrong?

I got it today, I timed myself with my watch, the requirements there are right.

Probably nothing. I've qualified for many ribbons and badges on servers that were claiming to be 'Ranked' only to find that they weren't at all as no rewards ever came from them.I had to do them again on a server I knew wasn't BSing about being ranked.

I'd stick to servers that you've perhaps played on before that you know gets you awards when you've qualified for them.

i think they mean ARMOR TO ARMOR kills, not pwning infantry like on karkand.

I dont think its just armored to armored. That was the very first ribbon I got, and I got it on Kubra. I know I pwned mostly infanty. I think its just kills period.

how would it know anyway.

I know it was ranked, and anyway you still get the medals and awards on unranked servers, like it shows up but then you just dont get it.

The only thing i can think of is that some of those armor kills were, DrDaz [killed] name

or something like that, but usually it should allways say with what vehicle you killed them with, because you can lay mines down get in a vehicle and it will say you killed them with the apc instead of the mines. And the other way round. Annoying at times.

The awards page really needs updating. I knew i should have gone and killed more instead of sitting around.

Yea, its 19 kills and then 20 minutes in a tank/apc in one round.

most servers rounds dont last 20 minutes. i can easily get 30+ kills with an APC. but i cant stay in one for 20 min..
