    Flying a Plane Mouse Look

Hi when your in a plane you can press Ctrl and look around with the mouse,,, is there a way to make it so you can do it on your joystick? It is a hassle having to switch from my joystick to the mouse to look around

You could probably script it somehow...

i dunno how to do the mouse look on a dif button. But i do use the HAT switch on my joystick to to the aft view and front view and toggle out the cockpit view to get a wider area of view. only time i use mouse look is if im hoverin over a flag and am lookin for baddies.

I think there's alot of people trying to figure this one out. Seems strange that mouse look support was added but there's not POV support for the joystick hat. I'd very much like to be able to look left/right when I'm piloting, and I really don't want to have to let go of my joystick in order to do so.

                      use your other hand?

i never got using a joystick, isnt it annoying having to move it into position everytime you get in a plane?

and surely if you have an emergency bail, and are suddenyl on foot, arent you ever caught off guard while switcing all your stuff around?

I use JoyToKey to make my hatswitch emulate the mouse movement for the mouse look. works quite well, although i only use this in the chopper and blackhawk as it makes spotting target for my gunners a bit easier. Well it would if it didn't interupt the damn flight controls when you hit the mouse look key. If you look to long you start drifting or sinking.
I still prefer the chase rear and cockpit view when in a jet.
