Is it possible to unlock any weapons in Singleplayer? Doesn't appear so, but I thought I'd ask. And I assume the same goes for Medals, Ribbons and Awards.

You could previously, but with the recent patches they made it so you can't. However, if you still have the Bf2 demo you can.
Open up the unlocks.py file in the python/bf2/stats/ folder with notepad. Search until you find this text:
defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
Simply change the 0's to 1's and when you create a local game you should be able to try out the unlocks. -
the newest patch prevents people from unlocking them in singleplayer somehow.
BUT you can unlock them still in the game's demo, and use them in singleplayer in the demo, if you want to try them out.Comment

I don't see why they won't let you use the weapons you've unlocked in multiplay and use it in single player. I know it's a stupid question but it's been on my mind since I've unlocked my first weapon :hmm:Comment
