I tried to uninstall using add/remove programs and it wouldnt work. Then I deleted the entire EA games folder to try and reinstall and bf2 is still in my add/remove programs list but it says its only 12 megs. Now I'm just trying to install the game but the installer wont even start up. WTF is the matter with this game.

Try deleteing these registry keys marked in bold, you access registry via regedit.exe, just open it via the Run option in Start Menu
and remove the folder where you installed BF2 to, and the Battlefield 2 folder in My Documents, this holds your keyboard, video, audio settings etc, if you wish to save them for later.[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2]

Yeah, I just did the registry thing and it worked. Now I'm rebinding my keys, I used to have Left Shift for Duck and Afterburner for jets but now it won't let me have it as both anymore. WeirdComment
