EA chooses unlock for you
if choose unlock later Ea chooses it for you if u don't pick one for more then 5 hours from your promotion it happen to me and choose L85 (which i like) jsut a warning for thoose that are in Private or Private First Class

Definitaly is not chosen for you, afaik it will just ask you each time you log in and will keep doing so until you pick one.Comment

Perhaps you accidentally selected one when logging in without thinking you did.
I know it doesn't seem very possible but.
