Purple Heart is easy, but not one you want to show off!
Gold, silver, bronze stars can be obtained straight away, just place first, second or third in a round. -
Most of the medals come from masses and masses of play. The gold silver and bronze come from finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in a round. The ribbons and badges are much easier to get. Look here for what you need to do for each.
