Texture and settings the area of level

Ok ive worked about all this afternoon on a map after reading all the tutorials i could find and when i went into game to test what i had so far there was so texture mostly the defult shading and there was no combat area so you have about 10 seconds to live ive tried setting the combat area larger but i don't know how, ive found the button thats used to do it but i dont know how. HELP!

your map might have gone past its high limet. lower your map.

is there any way to know what the limit is? and i still cant figure out how to set the combat area
