unlocked guns in lan / solo?

hey guys... i unlocked the medics seccond weapon in multiplayer and wanted to play a solo, and later a lan game, with it, but found they were still marked as locked in single and lan games... any one know if its possible to use them?

i wouldnt be supprised if i was doing (or not doing) somthing to cuase this and i was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to how to fix this...

if there is no real fix, then has anyone made a mod of sorts to unlock them?

you'll have to be logged on to the internet in order to get onto the BF2 profile server so it can tell your computer that you have infact unlocked the gun.

thats what i figured and when i log onto their servers it still dosnt seem to work for me.. i check "Battlefield HQ" and i shows the gun as being unlocked there, but wont let me have it in a lan or solo game.

yeah, the way they did this to the game is really stupid. single player should be able to have access to everything.

They didn't unclude unlocks for single player and lan. You could do this thing before the patches, but now it doesn't work.

maybe if you create a local profil... then go in your config files... try opening with notepad

maybe youll see a GLOBAL UNLOCK = 0
maybe you can change it for GLOBAL UNLOCK = 1

but this is just a maybe im at work and there is no way for me to try that

good idea sithtis... i just finished looking around though and no global unclocks =(

so it was the patch that broke this then? if i reinstall and dont patch could i log in and use my guns?

i think that you only could get the weapons in the demo...when you play solo or lan you are private and you have no weapons...the things only work in MP..
