G3 Not So Great

The g3 looks hot though. Best looking gun imo.

best looking assault rifle that is.

plus this test is pretty sterile. in a combat situation different guns have dif capabilities. like deviation etc. now if this was in the middle of the firefight i would consider this was actually worth watching

you can look up its deviation as well. you can look up all its stats. the weapons do not magically change stats once you start pointing them at other players. yes how good it is depends on the players, but a workman is only as good as his tools.
its not a crap gun, but its pros dont make up for its cons.

Hmmmmm many conva going on here but (I have nor unlocked it but used it before by picking it up) I am certain the accuracy test was fake or the aimer just sucked alot

Its good for mid range as it is very powerful and seems to me just tiny bit accurate than AK
so the power goes G3->AK47->AK101-M16
Accuracy goes G3-M16->AK-AK
so if you can handle assault without pineapple launcher(grend launcher)go for G3
If you dont like it with out the pineapple launcher forget it

Actually the G3 is quite good , only with a 20 round mag , you must be carefull of when to reload , also it´s very acurate and it will kill with 2 or 3 rounds to the torso

Ha, look at all these poor guys trying to defend this sub-par gun. "OMG those aren't real situations!" yea... they're the simplest and easiest situations possible, an imobile target. If the G3 had horrible accuracy at long range against an imobile target, how does that mean it will be able to hit a moving target better? In 'real situations' it will suck more than it did in this video.

I think the pistol is the best weapon, why? Because I've raped 10 people in a row with it on karkand, multiple times. It's got great accuracy, fast firing rate, and does more damage than a grenade that landed 50ft away from you. :laugh: Now, does that really make it the best weapon? No, just because you've been able to take out squads with a certain weapon doesn't mean you can't do it with other guns.

From my point of view, the G3 just turns the assault class into a medic with no healing ability.

No, i'm sorry to say this, but the G4 has the worst accuracy of them all for raw numbers, here's how it really goes M16>AK101>Ak47>G3. But raw numbers never really matter, but just so you know the raw accuracy. And i'm guessing you got those numbers from BFHQ, they have it all wrong, G3 is medium accuracy, the G36C is low-medium damage instead of medium, the RPK is medium damage instead of high, etc. EA messed up a lot of things in BF2. But yes, the accuracy is good on all guns on single shot, so single shot is the way to go for G3. It beats all others in raw damage though, which is good if your opponent is already damaged, which they likely are.

EDIT: I meant G3 at the top, not G4.

actually the G3 has higher min&max deviation but lower recoil than the AKs.
