Random Stupid Lag Problem, Help appreciated

Hey folks

I have a linksys wireless network connection. Wireless-G if that matters. Strong connection.

Anyways, it may not matter. My problem is, at seemingly random times, my Lag spikes to around 800-1000 ping, and I get a "There is a problem with your Connection" message. This lasts for anywhere between 5-20 seconds.

I say seemingly random, but it seems to happen at the WORST times, like flying a jet, or atacking a base or whatever.

Anyways, It seems to happen some times, not others, and I have found no pattern.

Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.

I get the same thing using a linksys wireless 'g' connection, I switch to a wired connection now and the problem is a lot less severe. I can only assume that its some sort of cache file for the wireless filling up and emptying?

I think you are right.... but switching to wired is a last option... if you are right, is there a way to assist in getting rid of the problem?

Doesnt matter if its wired connection i have a wire connection 3mb and i get that msg. I dont fly or drive so i want end up killing my teammates

I have looked and looked for all types of fixes and nothing has worked yet
