I have been playing BF2 for a few weeks now and have never experienced any problems. Just recently (a day or two ago) I was playing as commander and my score was 20 kills and 5 deaths (about 15 of the kills came from artillery strikes) but my score was only 11, I should atleast have 40 points from just the kills alone. No team kills at all. I also noticed that I was not recieving points for capturing flags. Now everytime i am commander this happens. The only time points registered is when I killed the enemy with the gun i had selected. Is anyone else out there experiencing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as I know, the commander only gets points, based on the average score of his team. Your kills do not apply to your score. All team kills will deduct points from your global score, so if you had 11 kills you would have 22 points, but if you tk'd a bunch of people then that would subtract from your score.
I don't see any information here that suggests a "bug" -
you dont get points for kills or flag caping as comander... you get a point for every flag you team caps tho...Comment

The commander points work very wierd, you get a point for flag captures, and if you spot an enemy and it is killed within a certain amount of time, you get a point. Your points also double at the end, and you may get a point for kills, but I've done rounds where I'll get tons of artillery kills, and won't get a point on my overall score for it.
But then again if you got that many more points for commander everyone would whore for it.Comment

Nonono! Commander score is only the average of your team's score. Nothing else. Imagine how bad it would be if you got points for hiding and firing the noob cannons all day long, there really would be a mutiny vote eery second of everygame.Comment
