Game Just Shuts Down

hi, i have a brand new computer with nice specs, i know i can play battlefield 2 on high settings if i want. When i start the game and i try to play a single player game it will start downloading the map and it will just shut down. I dont know what the problem could be, i tried it on all of the settings and it still does it :cry: can anyone Help?

go to nvidias websiote and get the latest drivers for a nvidia or maybe ATis site has the ati drivers. I have nvidias so ont know about ati. Whatc ard do you have?

i have the geforce 6600 gt and i downloaded the 77.77 drives and i tried it without the patch and it still does it
