Lag problems

Alright this is annoying-

I have P4 2.4
1gb ram
9800 pro


I have a 2mb cable connection and when i surf everything is fine. But when i join a bf2 server it lags up like hell, even when my ping is only 12.

it used to be fine, i dont know whats going on!

I reinstalled BF2 demo again, checked back of pc of the ethernet cable, and just did a spyware check. it still is crapping up

I go into a game ping is like 15 and then i start getting a message problem with your connection and i start lagging..
THIS IS EVERY SERVER
i was FINE like 2 days ago..
