Read on here somewhere about some commander tactics... some good insights were in there. One was to drop supplies somewhere near the other team wher they cluster, then they cluster tighter and BOOM to your artillery.
So I was artillering like that and then zooming in MAX to actually watch people get flung around and wasted... and the hilarious thing was that some smart whipper snappers would actually RUN LIKE HELL AWAY from the supplies, and sure enough survive... SO I got me an idear...
I started dropping supplies where I wanted SMART enemies to clear out! Then I'd drop arty too so rub in the message....
Then a little later I wouldn't drop the arty and the other team had been conditioned to RUN LIKE HELL away from supplies too! So then....
If there was a bottleneck, I'd artillery where they'd be 10 seconds later (where they would most likely have to run to) and then drop supplies on them, right in the middle of where tyhey currently were...
Yep- they RAN LIKE FOOLS to the killing field I had set up. After that, there was hardly any discernable pattern to what they would, they must have felt despair.
OMG it was fun, like playing with ants...
Human AI is much more fun to toy with than computer AI.... if you get what I mean. In one barrage in particular there were 10 kills... one of them a packed APC.
