Been running the DVD since the game came out, never had a problem with it.

Just FYI, DVD drives will read CD's.

Only difference is 1 DVD vs. 4 CD's. I like having it all on one disk, and no ***** probs...

I like the DVD one, but I dont like poppin in CD's every time I play so I made a disc image and use daemon to make a virtual drive. It definitly will save your disc from unwanted damage, and allows you to keep it as a collectors.

                  3 CD's actually.

-edit- If you want to use a virtual drive so you don't need the CD, I'd go with the CD. Much smaller image.

Keep in mind the DVD case is much better. If you buy the CD case EA rips you off by stacking the CD's instead of giving each of them their own special holder.

Its a pain in the ass to get them out without bending the CD's

I only buy DVDs now, primarily cuz I'd rather have the one DVD than 4 CDs as said above.

It's still a pain in the ass to get the DVD out without bending it dangerously...

DVD version here, my Asus 16x DVDROM drive has never had any issues with it.
I think the UK only got the DVD version anyway, same as HL2.
