Please recommend some pc games...

Hey, i'm getting a new pc and was wondering if you lot could recommend me some pc games? I have BF2 (Sitting on the shelf, can't play until i get the pc ¬_¬) and i'm going to get HL2 with CS:S. Can you recommend anymore?

Your ganna get killed asking something like that in a PC player's community. You'll get a hell of a lot of people talling you their favorite games. What you really need to say is what games are the best for this certian genre. Like MMOG's its World of Warcraft or GuildWars hands down... (I play World Of Warcraft because I think Guild Wars just doesn't have a good story line.)... Or if you want RTS I would go with Ages of Empires, Starcraft, RedAlert2, and most of all, Rise Of Nations. FPS I would go with BF2 (I know... I mean... who likes BF2 in this community? 0_o) The Tribes Series, Half-life, Halo, PainKiller, Unreal, and so many more. But most of all, if you want to find a game thats for you. Go to the Communities that are the fan bases for those games and see if you see yourself in one of those people who are apart. If you need some suggestions, For all blizzard Studios Games, www.warboards.org and www.worldofwarcraft.com. For BF2, try www.Totalbf2.com, www.bf2.com. Or just google a community 0_o

I'd say Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Sold 2
The graphics look awesome with DirectX9 cards

Try the splinter cell series on the PC. The newest one, Chaos Theory, is so damn good and was ment to stress even newer computers.

ALso: UT2k4 (kinda old, but still a good Deathmatch game thats modern), Painkiller (so so imho, but good if bought at a discount), Doom 3 (good game but overpriced when it came out), and need for speed underground 2 (if you are into racing).
