    new city map **screens**

the map i made before had totally fallen apart

    i stared a new one:

After many headaches, first having the game crash at 15% then fixing that just to have it crash at 65%, then i fixed that here are some ingame screenshots

    enjoy

    The Village

    City Center

    Train Station

I have more images and might try to get them on here later

        1) You also need to vary the buildings more, on that second pic I counted 17 houses and there was only 3 different kinds placed, you will get alot of dejavu in game :p

        2) Its not much of a city, i hope you plan to make the buildings much more compact instead of having them sparse

        3) generate your low detail texture

How do you get your roads to stay? Whenever i make a road, save the map, exit and open it up again, it says it has lost the road?

It looks great. My only thing to say to you is, make it cluttered. Put houses very very close to each other, for instance have 5 on one corner. Then you can have very, very close quarters combat. There will be crevices of course where you can still go behind the houses, behind them would be fences and other objects.

            Just an idea.

For instance, do it like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas did neighborhoods. Very cluttered, but very cool.

it feels like im being to repetative with the building, i was thinking he houses would be bigger

i might need to rethink the plan of the city

Ah, well you kinda are being abit repetitive, if you find that you cant find any new buildings try having the same ones at different angles and things like that. Customise a few of them a bit as well (stick some ladders on etc..)

To make it seem less repetitve you could say that a battle has been going on for some time in the description and have some of the buildings on fire and have many smoke effects in the map and lots of damaged fences.. just an idea :)
