Commanders....get your head out of your @$$ !

I'm getting sick and tired of people jumping into the commander position, then sending me into "suicide" missions.

Playing Kubra Dam as US. Commander orders me to take the flag at the enemy airbase. You know, the one all the way on the other side of the map. I can make it there 99% of the time no problem. I start capping the flag, and every frigging MEC comes at me. I call for backup, and guess what....my frigging hero commander doesn't help at all. Does he order backup to my location? Heck no. At least he could say....hey, great diversion you gave there. You almost dodge that enemy Helo, and the tank and the jets....oh and the 3 AT guys shooting up your crack.

I know, some people will say...join a squad. When I do, they all run in different directions. Makes you rather play lone wolf and not expect help.

Next people will say...vote out commander. If you can't get a squad to work together, how in the heck are you gonna get him voted out?

I'm just getting frustrated. I want to play as a team. I don't give a crap about being commander.

I know lots of us here have similar experiences, sometimes it just feels better to vent.

I really need to find a good clan.

then again you can reject the commanders orders and order your squad around as you see fit....many commanders are just idiots that cant play fps' well tho. just make a squad wait till it gets a few people (or friends) and go round doing as you see fit. commanders cant help it if they are blind deaf and stupid

Find a good server with some real team players trust me it makes it alot better

the only commanders that annoy me are the ones that go out in tanks...they are meant to command and to be a good commander u need to have concentration not be in a tank shooting people...it wont get em any more points...

If a commander gives me a dumbass order which usually happens i jus reject it or say gimme a better one...

cos attacking a flag surrounded by AA armour and god knows how many infantry on Kubra Dam aint worth the deaths of me and my 5 other squaddie chums...

i was playing in a server the other day and i decided to be commander... there was 2 full squads and a few 2 or 3 person squads... the squads listened well.. the full squads attacking the littler ones picking off squads trying to flank... the amazing thing is that i only got 1 or 2 TKs from arty... we won about 5 rounds in a row... i was always in the top 3 for thos 5 rounds... personly i dont like the comander position... i like shooting ppl up more :ar15:

i was 7 days ago on a server i was squad leader because i can ask for rpv or for a drop, art and the commander gived me order for attack this attacking that repair that (stupid ***** i am no engineer - on the bottom of commander page press wrench dick head and than give orders) :) i saw the map no body was working as a team all over the map they where on there own so there was no team and that dick wanted to kick me because i didnt do what he say noob

At the beginning of a match, I'll do it for a couple of reasons.

1. It is a good stategy by taking out the enemy airfield.
2. I think, maybe just maybe, this commander will send some backup.
3. I thought that we were supposed to listen to our commander?
