Medic! Medic! Medic!

Is it just me or does it annoy anyone else when you are playing medic and a guy is yelling "medic", so you run over to revive him and just as you get there he fades away. Is there anyway to communicate directly with an injured player to let him know that help in on the way. And if so, is there a way an injured player can stay injured until i get there, rather than "die" and automatically go back to the spawn screen? I used to play Wolfenstein ET, and if you saw a medic in your area, you could hold off on respawning and wait until he revived you. If anyone can help me on this or give me some advice, I'd appreciate it.

Nope. Once the timer goes down it's time to respawn. If your dead you can't control when you disappear.

Well if your in the same squad can't you talk to him over VOIP and tell him help is on the way?

sometimes you can revive them even after they begin to fade away...thats cutting it close, their respawn timer must say 0 lol

It would be cool if as a medic i could click on the red injured symbol on the mini-map and that would send a message to that injured player that said "a medic is on his way".

What's really embarassing is when you go into a dangerous firefight knowing full well that you might die reviving the guy, you pull out the shock paddles and poof...and then you die. :dead:

Only more embarassing is doing this only to realize that you're trying to revive someone on the other team. :wall:
