    Killing Enemy = Teamkill Bug?

Right so this has only happened to me once but I wonder if it has to anyone else, and if anyone knows why it happened.

I see an enemy spawn, I gat him with my pistol, on my last shot I kill him, it says I teamkilled, and now the guy is on my team? Did I freakishly kill him just at the instance he was teamswitching, or killed him and autobalance swapped him, causing the problem.

And no it wasn't the name tag bug, because the place he spawned was controlled by MEC, I saw him spawn, he spawned in one of the designated spots, (the one west of the first flag on Karkand in the alley), and no-one else on my team was present so it wasn't someone spawning on one of our squadleaders.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Dont say it wasn't the name tag bug because it is. Local replication information may not be correct causing your team names to display incorrectly. Just because he is on the MEC on the screen doesn't mean he's the MEC on the server. I had this ass keep killing me on my team which was clearly the nametag bug. In the end the server ended up kicked all 3 of the best ranked guys (the gold, silver, and bronze) for repeatedly killing me.

IT is the nametag bug, eventually some of the nitwits who had almost no kills on my team finally realized that I was on their team after being punished 1 or 2 times.

In gaming it works like this, the server is always right, if somethings wrong, its wrong with the client.

The guy was on MEC for most of the round, I killed him a few times before without any problems, then when I killed him like I said above it said it was a teamkill then I looked and he was now on USMC. So I still don't see how that means it is the name tag bug, which I have also had before.
