Well my psycho ex stopped me playing DC by cutting every single lead attached to my PC. Monitor cable and power cable, wireless key and mouse receiver, all the leads for my 5.1 speakers, network cable etc....

Now I can understand her being mad if I was playing a lot but at that time I was only playing about 5 hours a week

My current g/f does not mind as I only see her at weekends (she lives in Surrey)

Man do I agree with you about the whining. The "quit being a nerd and spend time with me" or "I am going to pour water on your computer" lines or killing me. I just got engaged so I poured gasoline on her desire to be with me 24/7. So I end up playing on friday at like 2 in the morning when she is asleep and can't call and bug me. I envy the people that get to play on a daily basis. So my question is how the hell do your girl into gaming?!?

I'm really glad mine isn't. It's nice to have things that are just for me, otherwise we'd be around one another 24/7... and I love her, she's a great girl, but ya know...

A man has to have his time to be a nerd.

A few weeks ago she saw me looking at my stats and said, "What is that? 85 hours?! You've spent 85 hours on this crap? I don't think you've spent 85 hours on me!"
I said, "Sure I have, but these 85 hours only cost 50 bucks"...heh. That earned me some punches for sure.
                        good one, hehe

I am glad mine doesn't do that, now the PC is my domaine, and I know how much time a human can put into games, and I still want her to do some things (cleaning up and stuff)

She sometimes asks me if I love my computer more then here because it seems that I put more time in it then I put time in her.

Offcourse I am in complete denial and say to here she is just imagening this

My gf likes the computer, but only to play cards or something similarly crap. Im like WTF I spent ££££'s on this machine and you want to play cards all day. My only saving grace is MSN popping up all the time with clan members asking to play BF2, she gets annoyed pretty quickly and gets off.

My wife is insane to begin with, she sits on the floor and talks my ear off, brings the double-dogs into my office (The twin-terrier-twin-terrors), or she actually cries..... Dang, I wish she would just let me play! IN PEACE!

I usually get smart a** remarks like " What do you want for your birthday a stick of RAM". I just roll my eyes but I am really thinking that some extra RAM wouldn't hurt with all the resources BF2 sucks from my computer
