Im sure im not the only one that gets grief from the missus about playing BF2 for too long. Im sure im one of the lucky ones that just gets moaned at, one of my mates girlfrinds took his modem off him to stop him from playing ROFL!!

Whats your member of the fairer sex's way of stopping you from playing? be it girlfriend/wife/sister/mother.

Wife plays as well side by side ... well a little of the time other than bf2 she plays Eq2 and -shudder- the sims2

Most of the time she lets me play, then she can do her thing (chat with girlfriends, watch TV, clean up, .... ) , and sometimes when she wants me to stop playing she just starts whining, and then it's difficult to shut her up and after some time I mostly give up and stop playing (why don't they just understand that I want to finish a round?) .

But after some time when she had her part of attention I go back and play.

Reason why she doesn't whine to much is because I also love to cook, and every day I cook here a nice and good meal, she's very happy then and I can do my thing all the rest is for her, hehe

If Liz is physically there she'll occasionally yell/whine, but her nastiest trick is to stand right next to me and gossip about her girlfriends right into my ear until I agree to get off. Trust me after hearing about how her friend Jennifer's new boss is the world's biggest b-yotch for about 10 minutes, I'm ready to quit.

If she's not there, she'll start calling every 30 seconds on my cell, and then on the landline. One time I unplugged both and she drove over and punched me in the arm.

A few weeks ago she saw me looking at my stats and said, "What is that? 85 hours?! You've spent 85 hours on this crap? I don't think you've spent 85 hours on me!"

This has me thinking BF2 should include an optional stat:
BF2:G/F ratio
Keeps track of how much time you've spent playing BF2 compared to time spent with your other half.
When the game first came out mine was probably like 1.5/1, now it's more like .25/1...ah well, nice while it lasted. :)
