ok here is the situation, my ISP(cable) automatically shuts my modem connection off for 2 minutes if too many concurrent connections are made.. (when playing CS if i run a scan for servers i have to stop the refresh)... the problem is when BF2 connects to the account server, it gets a server list before giving you an option screen... so my connection is stopped and i get hung on connecting to acct server screen... is there anyway i can limit the maximinum number of concurrent connections? (tribes allowed you to do this)

Doesn't Windows XP with SP2 installed limit the outgoing connections to 10 per second by default ?

click "stop server update"?
then just do a server search, ie : ea uk

and get a new isp

ditto but replace ea uk in the search with raging ie Raging Rebels Ranked 1.02 there are never any admins on EA official servers, come play on a server with admins on nearly 24/7 amd notice the difference, tk'ers quickly vanish, we even kick tk punishing noobs for punishing for accidents/running over team mates mines etc, we try an offer a better BF2 experience, fun 4 all!
