Best place to earn TOW/Mounted MG Ribbon ?

What do you guys think is the best place to get 5 kills with a TOW/Mounted MG ? I still need to earn that ribbon but havent had much luck in a tow vs armors :laugh:

Operation Clean Sweep(front two TOW's take out apcs and boats easily), Karkand and Mashtuur.

Ok, the US MG on Karkand. Aim at the wall, something moves without a blue tag, kill it. Thats if you wanna earn it. Option B. Be commander and sit on the MG at the US base. Get 5 artil kills. Mission accomplished.

Strike at Karkand - MEC soldier - Use the TOW near the US artillery. APC/Tank/Humvees drive right by you. As a US soldier use the MG at either of the artillery spawn points.

Ha...I got mine on Fushe Pass. Just by camping the outpost that gets the most attention. My final kill was taking down an AH-1Z with the TOW..always satisfying.

Dragon Valley - There is a TOW Missile out the front of the Chinese Temple (in the middile of the river), that you can aim at the point the USMC armour will come.

Clean Sweep (IMO easiest) - The MEC Tow? Missile pointing towarsd the USMC base, one shot kills LAVS and Boats, LAVS go slower in water, and generally don't see you until it's too late, Boats are easy if they are coming towards you and don't even get a warning signal.

I got that in 5 shots, and also managed to get my basic engi, basic support ribons on the Clean Sweep tow in one round.

will it work with the basic sniper badge too? i suck at sniping and have only played the kit for less than 30 minutes so it's difficult for me to get 10 kills. can i be a sniper and then play commander and have 10 arty kills and then have the basic sniper badge?

Just go to Strike at Karkand, get on the "hotel outpost?" in the center of town. Climb to the top put a claymore on the ladder and pray it wont rain artillery.

Then you snipe from up there, or just wait till the flag turns to another side and drop handgrenades down I'm pretty sure they will count towards your sniping badge as long as its the Sniper kit...

Not sure as I got mine by actually sniping. It aint that hard :P

It's much easier with the MG as the TOW takes multiple hits on armor to knock it out. Got the ribbon and badge on Karkand using the MG by the US artillery. There was MEC squad that kept charging my position to blow the the arty. I think I got something like 45 kills that game.

I dont play as sniper, since I dont think there are many boards that I consider to worth going as sniper, but you can get ur badge for sniping as commander.

Not in my experiences, one TOW has always done the trick for me.

I just got my ribbon last night and it was on Clean Sweep with the TOW facing USA base. Just hide in the rocks there until you see a boat or LAV get close enough and then run to the TOW and blast them. If you sit there they will know to keep shooting at tht TOW and their F-15 will start to bomb there too.

operation clean sweep, there you have two tows that can be used a lot against enemy's, the first one has a look out to the see and you can TOW every boat or APC that is comming in your direction, very easy, the second one is on the 4th flag point

karkand -- northwest flag -- TOW in position to knock out any vehicle (usually vodniks) that come up from both directions (and you got upper ground so you cant lose)

There are a few good MG's in Karkand that make it very easy to get this.
-The US MG on the hill
-The MEC MG to the right of the village square flag(best)
-The MEC MG near the market flag
-The MEC MG near the train accident is risky but possible
You only need 5 kills. You can also try using the various TOW's spread around the map and get the 5 kills via a MG/TOW combo. Just give it time.

wtf sit on the machinegun and arty ? but u're not killing with the gun does it counts !!??

and what are exactly the specification for this ribbon ? does it really work with the gun or only with the TOW ?
because this website says "5 kill with TOW" but not the mounted gun ...
