Split down middle in editor?

K ive made my map but now i have this strange display in the editor

does n1 know wtf this is, the water seems 2 diff. colours on each side of the map in the editor.

also how do i change the view distance of the terrain in the editor, atm everything isnt detailed until im up close

There's a property "LoD switch" somewhere, and it's normally set down very low. The higher the number, the further away you see detail (but the more processing power needed!).

The split down the middle is very strange, isn't it? But it is only seen in the editor, so don't worry. If you load the map up on a local server for testing you'll find it looks normal, no crazy split.
