I didn't get punished! Thank you!

I was playing Dragon Valley last night, raking in the kills. I was some capping flags, but I guess for some reason "the game" just didn't want me to have a positive teamwork score. :hmm:

I tried picking someone up with the transport chopper, they ran over underneath me and obviously weren't holding "E"... I wondered why they were taking so long to get in... I'd teamkilled them. I apologised, of course, and he didn't punish me!

Next, I was in a tank, an APC was in front of me, about to cross a bridge. It got hit by another tank and started smoking, so I moved forward to get in front of it to protect it from the next shell. I must have touched it while overtaking, as it exploded... teamkill. He didn't punish me either!

My negative teamwork score lost me the gold star by two points... but that's not the point. I think people might actually getting some experience with the game and not punishing every stupid teamkill.

May I just put out a general thank you to all you "Default-Page-Uppers" out there, and especially to those two I accidently crushed or incinerated last night!

What server was this on ?

I tried to jump into a transport helicopter last night on Dragon Valley, pressed E when I jumped, ended on standing on the stupid section that connects the tail rotor to the body and then get killed for it. It was weird as I was directly under the body of the chopper when I jumped anyhow.

If it was you, it certainly wasn't your fault, so why punish for something that was my problem or a general game glitch, I say.

Vulcan: It was (Australian) GameArena #3.

I was suprised since in the early weeks of the game I have a couple of times been taking off with a full chopper, had one or two other people run over for a pickup, get creamed by the tail rotor, and then punish me...

Yeah same here, I forgive if it's an accident, unless it's a mistake thats so utterly stupid that you have to punish for it.
The most annoying Teamkill incident for me was when an enemy chopper apparantly badly damaged was hovering just over my teams flag. I was assault class and shot it with a grenade laucnher, and luckily destroyed it. Unfortunatly it the debris landed on two people from my team, killing them both. Then they both punished me.

Yeah, as a rule I only punish if it was intentional or BLATANTLY stupid...

I always get punished when some idiot runs into my claymores... maybe they think I put anti tank mines on a roof top for a joke? Thats the only thing I can think of... I mean Skull and crossbones + top of ladder = CLAYMORE to me, but then again people are generally stupid. Why punish me when YOU RAN INTO IT???

Oh yeah... That's why I don't snipe... I once had a guy run into my claymore on the top of a ladder.. He punished... I grumbled a little to myself and replaced the claymore... a few seconds later.. BOOM... same guy teamkilled again by the claymore in the SAME PLACE... Punished... This time I got on the main chat and really ripped into him... I also got a supply crate from the commmander... And (stupidly)... replaced the claymore.... Sure enough, half a minute later.. BOOM... punish... kick... If I could find that guy, oh, the things I would do to his mutilated corpse.. lol..
