    Yaw factor and Pitch factor

Can anyone tell me exactly how these 2 things affect the mouse in BF2?

Dont they just make it more sensitive, yaw is nothing to do with the mouse as its what turns you left and right if you were hovering, but yeh i think it just increases the sensitivity

Yes, just turns you...that's why I use a Joystick all the way.

Not sure, but I'd make a guess that you could adjust your ability to go up/down (pitch) and side to side (yaw) seperately....?

it greatly effects the rate of movement(rotation) when you use your "wasd" keys
              especially when you are driving
can almost turn on a dime with yaw set to 10 for land vehicles

                Really? Even in a tank?

What??? You say these affect keyboard control and not just mouse control?

What about adjusting these in the common controls section? How do they affect mouse control when your just running around trying to shoot people?

It's misnamed, it affects roll and pitch.

Are you serious? You'd have to be pretty stupid to confuse yaw and roll.

here is what I KNOW about this post
(and will do some testing on what I only THINK I know)
                        first - the obvious
as there is NO yaw when running on foot - it only effects movement of things that yaw
(eg turrets (via mouse), vehicles when you are driving, planes)

I ALWAYS hated how sluggish the tanks and LAV turned in the game - (even the HUMV was tough to manage at higher speeds)
BUT - when I increased the yaw rate - now I can really speed through town and easliy handle sharp turns

same for helo (I use "wasd" and mouse for helo)
I make the yaw rate high to help with dogfighting, but balance the mouse sensitivity between hover and dogfighting (keep the pitch rate lower than desired to help with hovering)

mouse sensitivity - as it sounds - if I increased it = it made the turret really whip around - but now it is MUCH harder to aim precisely -

here is the part I have not tested -
                        (other than empirical)
is there a combined effect of high yaw settings and high mouse sensitivity?
eg when trying to get head shots with a tank or LAV - is the effect on pinpoint aiming compounded by both?

I do not thinik so, but will test and report
