[Bravo-co] matt & psycho stat padding

just a quick question, anyone seen these two around?

I was on a public ranked server (doing quite well, in 2nd & 3rd place on 2 maps in a row :) )

then the next map was fine, but then I was next to a team mate, got killed by an enemy running after him.

ok that was normal

but then my teammate revived me, and the enemy killed me

repeat about 5 times....

before I managed finally to swap teams in the menu (you can't suicide in that time as the option does not come up before you get revived by 'evil' team mate)

At the end of the map [Bravo-co]Matt and [Barvo-co]pyscho each had over 150 points, the next highest iirc being about 80

I have seen this before (someone posted a video), but OMG is it not a bit blatant when matt is on US and Pyscho is on MEC and they each have over 50 points more than everyone who is playing 'properly'?

yeah, but really it is just so lame that they do this.

They use teamspeak or Ventrilo probably, go onto the same server, each on a different team, and then just coordinate to do this to someone who is on the server to play, not get screwed over by two eight year olds.

(I'm assuming they're eight years old, because I really don't see the point of what they did - does anyone actually give credibility to the BF2 Stats anymore?)

Stats mean nothing no more with all the abuse it's taking. All they do mean is having to play for 10 years to get any weapons! SAD!

Even if it's obvious, a lot of times there aren't any admins on so you can't do much. I would have just disconnected then again I'm a huge stat whore and usually die in my tank.

The thing is this entire exploit could be fixed by giving newly spawning players a 2 or 3 second 'shield' during which time they can't be killed.

Id just wish for hte option to deny a revival, sometimes when im completely out of ammo ( Seriously charging enemies with knifes ) a death is very velcome, then someone revives me and I go back to my knife spree * Okay okay okay in most cases i can loot other dropped weapons but I've tried once or twice where it wasnt possible :P *

yeah, that's a good idea. It could be like in Wolfenstein ET, where once you get shot, if you don't want to wait for a medic, you just tap out by pressing 'space'. That would be a good way of solving the 'stat-rape issue and also be good if you have no ammo (as you said)

and yeah, the option to not be revivied would be nice...I love medics, but once in a while I wanna spawn back at the main base - might have a clanmate there wanting a pilot or gunner, or I'm out of ammo, or am looking to get in on a fight at another point in the map... but having that option may take care of these knife-rapes / stat-rapes.
