    Story

    Release notes

With the release of Project Reality Mini-Mod (PRMM) 0.1, you as a gamer are surely curious as to what gameplay aspects of Battlefield 2 have been changed to make up this modification. Without a doubt we, Project Reality have added many items which redefine the default gameplay of Battlefield 2. Below you will find a list of changes (not complete) and further down a selection of changes (with accompanying images) that we thought would interest you.

Hmm... Seems like alot is taken out, barely adding anything in return... Other than the tank and shotgun ammo types, it seems like you took out a bunch of things, and just added a few realism parts to it...

Doesnt seem to stand out from the other realism mods out.

I think that these changes are very nice and i guess that it will stand out from other realism mods. And does the shotgun have ironsights coz there aren't any reticles?

Raslin, the PRMM will stand out from the other 2 reality mod because they recruited both autors of these previous mods (Frosty and Djuice) so, it will be like the best of the 2 mods together and a lil more by the way, i cant wait!!!!

Thank you for bringing that up, I was just gonna say that...

and anyways, this is the mini mod, not the actual mod yet...

I meant this version of the mod(mini-mod if you so choose to say), not the mod in general. It seems to take out alot of things, and introduce little to make up for it.

Raslin, when developing this mini-mod we didn't focus on making sure there was a 1:1 ratio between what was removed and what was added. I don't think many gamers are concerned about that, expecially when you consider that those who are interested in this mod are focused on one thing: realism.

Whatever it takes to make Battlefield2 feel and play in a realistic manner. That could involve removing 100 elements, and only adding 60.

                    Thank you for your input.

Dont get me wrong, I'm all for realism. I just think that things like scan and UAV shouldnt have been taken out, with replacements, etc. Commander is a pretty boring class as it is, nerfing it will make people even less willing to be it.

guys why make it a HEAt round its supposed to be a HEAP round high explosive anti personal round its used against lightly armored vehichles as jeeps and great against infantry the sabot on the other hand does very little to infantry.

Well Raslin, you have to consider where a mini-mod would be in the development phase in this early stage of the game. The UAV replacement is in the works, and as it stands, a Sat-Scan, as it appears in Battlefield2 isn't realistic.

There's a lot to consider when putting something like PRMM together and I feel as though that's a perspective you may not see.

Please remember, this is ver. 01.
