G3 is alright but if your not good at controlling recoil you might as well unlock it and never use it.

Get the PKM it owns but you're playing still can't be full on, attacking from the side is most effective with the PKM, or you could just play assault and use the nade launcher all day, once you know how to use it, even a sniper has no chance.

yea the pkm is strong but shoot slow, the saw can beat the pkm in close combat..

My first unlock too. I have sniped people with it when Im scouting out postions because its probably one of the most accurate guns in the game. When shooting (not sharpshooting though) keep it on auto and shoot in bursts, up close spray and pray.

My final opinion: Great gun to unlock.

I unlocked it yesterday and really like it. It's way better than the standard weapons. Same damage but almost no recoil. And accuracy is great. Just shot in single or 2 round bursts and you can almost snipe with it.

L85A1: at first I thought it was crap, but it takes practice, use 2-3 round burst ONLY, and use controlled single round for long range.

L85 is light in RL, and this is well represented ingame, it jumps a lot, and accuracy fell off quickly, the tip is to control your shots, full automatic shots will only form a bullet screen above your enemies.

also, use it like the M4A1 in CS, that is, aim for the feet, at close range.

G36: haven't got it yet, very accurate, yes, more accurate than assualt rifles (a trend with all spec op guns), but damage = weak,and may take unnecessarily long time to down someone.

PKM/jackhammar/DAO12: those are specality guns, fun and powerful in certain situation, maybe not be useful in others.

the g36c is a great gun. fast, accurate. power isnt great but the accuracy and rof means you can put enough rounds into a target to drop it. about 5-7rounds to the chest to drop an armoured infantry. only things to worry about are medics w/ their unlock and bunnies w/ nade launchers.

i have 20,000 global points. i have the G3, and the L85. the biggest GUN UPGRADE is the DAO-12 those SMGs suck. dont get the engineer only because... you dont use your shotgun THAT much, you are in cars and such. Sniper kit pass, not acc. at all. Assualt is a good gun(the G3) but very limited to ammo. G36C love it. L85 waste of an unlock. and the pkm isnt acc. very much even in prone.

I have it and i absolutely love it.. single shot is as good as a sniper full auto is dead dead useful for qcq... but it all depends on what you play as and what you enjoy doing.. im considering the DAO12 for my next unlock as i like to play AT when im not spec ops and i hate the mp5 or the toys r us thing the chinese get. the G3 is a sensible alternative though... ive liked that everytime ive killed someone and picked it up.
