Does anybody know when these dissappear. I've been wondering if it's when you throw a certain number on the ground or when you die or some other reason. Does anybody know? Thanks.

I am not sure of the exact parameters, but I think they disappear when you die, they can disappear after a certain amount of time, and I think you can only have "so many" out on the ground at any one time, such that if you continue to drop 'em, the older ones disappear, etc. -

They don't seem to always disappear when you die, so I think there are other factors in conjunction with dying maybe that are at play as well such as Heniz mentions above.
It's easy to check. Drop down some ammo somewhere near one of your spawns, die, re-spawn, check for ammo. My ammo seems to last quite a while and I can die a lot sometimes. :)Comment

Dying doesn;t make em go away. I can change classes and still get ammo points for 5 mins. I think after putting out 10 or so they begin to disappear.Comment

its after you put so many out... i was spaming ammo bags on karkand... and eventualy they started to dissapear after i kept puttin them down... not sure on the numbers tho...Comment

5 per life is how many ammo bags you can lay down. Don't know if or what the limit is on that. So you can lay down 5 and then if you die you can lay down 5 more and have ten on the map assuming nobody picked up any.Comment
