I just got my server all set up, and im trying to add my clan mates as admins of it. I'm using BF2CC, and I put their names in the Admin panel, but when they try to do commands, it doesn't work.

I think only RCON mode is supported. the name really doenst matter although it is showed in rcon console chat. the password is needed and is the same for everyone."Crunch's First Officer"

Give them the Rcon info....only if they are trusted.

Ummm, first make sure you have rcon set up so you log in as admin:
Then, all you have to do is tell ur clanmates the shhhhhh. rcon password, and they can all log in via ~
rcon login shhhhitsasecret or whatever pass u may have
This means you are all basically superadmins. Not the best idea in the world, but works for most over 18.
But BF2CC is supposed to offer different levels of adminship. I would suggest learning more about that route before just giving everyone rcon access, and any idiot with a tilde and a login can start messing around with every cvar available. Goto the bf2cc forums, and I'm sure you can find threads or even stickies about setting up diff adminship levels. Best of luck.Comment

Um, is there a way to just make them server admins so that they can use console commands to do server stuff?
Does bf2 even have console server commands?
