Thank DaSniper for help me with so much on this map. Worked on it with me for about 4 hours.

I have improved this map a lot. I will list the changes i can remember below.

-Added Fog
-Decreased View Distance
-Removed Trees
-Added Ladders on more buildings
-Added Trenches at MEC Home Base
-Removed Bug with Emplaced weapons
-Move Sand bag around TOW Missle at USMC Main
-Added more stingers
-Added Hummers and Vodniks
-Added one Tank to the MEC Side
-Added BlackHawks at USMC Main
-Placed M49s at USMC Main
-Many more....

Wonderful map. However Wolfseye Have you been asking these mappers to host their maps. Otherwise don't host em.

First of all, when all Site owners would ask all their File Authors, to ask permission to host them, no big Site would exist.

Second of all is hosting those Maps, bringing the Maps to the people, thats a Mappers only reward for doing all his work. And Files only go around when more Sites offer them, to have the biggest Impact on the Communitys that play them.

So, I don´t see any problem with hosting all those Maps and their is no Mapper so far, that has complained about it. If so, I would of course remove them, but it would not make much sense for the Author to do that, if he wants his Maps go around.

There is no law that says I have to ask all Mappers, which I also probably never find all or, if they are doing it still, could ask. Maps have not a Copyright like a Game, for Example BATTLEFIELD 2 from EA. Thats different. Sure does the Map Author have a kind of copyright, its his work, but in the End, its free for the Players of the different Games.

But I can make you a offer, if those Maps here in the Forum, that I host now on my Site, if their Owners complain about me hosting them, I will remove those Downloads.

there would be not much in those games to play, because noone will ever ask anyone for helping him, bringing his work to the people that play it. Sites like mine or many others try to help the Communitys to offer the files for those games people would want to play and try.

So, I think you should relax. I am doing this now for over 2 Years, with quite success what concerns Downloads and helping Mappers in different Communitys, I think I know what I am doing.

P.S: If someone doesn´t want his Map or File hosted on my Site, just say so, thats the owners choice to revoke that. Not up tp you TAW_DaSniper !!! Don´t take this personal, its not.

You might realize how this Sentence was ment. It sure not ment that I can´t host this Map on my Website, on my Server. It was ment that I don´t post this link he posted, on my website, so I would only do linking.

I doubt that a Mapper would have anything against it, hosting his work on many websites, so more people can see what he worked for. If you run a big website, you cannot ask anyone for permission. And even if, it would not make sense for the Mapper to don´t permit other Sites to not host his Map, because as Mapper the only reward you can get, what you can archive, is, that many people actually play your map, your work.

Without hosting this on as many Sites as possible, this would never happen anyway. Its not that I am forced to do this, but what I do is support the Communitys with this offer. I sure pay a lot money to keep this up & running, and I do it now for almost 2 years. I know what I am doing.

Anyone who don´t want his Map hosted on my Site is welcome to tell me and it will be removed. But like i said above, thats up to the Author of the Map, not anyone else.

Wolfeye i have no problem with you hosting my maps, its was just yo went to everyones topic that released a map and put your link there when there already was one.

Its called adding Mirrors whats pretty usual in things like that. If all Maps would just go on one Weblink, all those Websites would have a lot of Traffic. Thats why Mirror Downloads are offered by Sites who can and want to do it.

Thats why I posted an extra link also, like almost any other Site would do it. Its not like I am doing this since yesterday. Most people appreciate when Mirror Downloads to their Files are offered, it seems I am wrong here.

P.S: If removed your Maps anyway because I normally offer this to people who appreciate this, but no Problem. No Mirrors will be posted anymore on TBF2, that you can count on.
