Slowdown in online, not in singleplayer

I play singleplayer with everything on medium and aa turned off at 1152 x 864 and i get average 60-80 fps. It runs pretty smooth too. Multiplayer is a different story though. I get in to the game and it will slowdown massively. Then after that it will start to get a little smoother. I will still have about 60-70 fps, but it will drop every 5-10 seconds and my game will lag. I know its not my connection because im gettin 50ms for my ping. I have a feeling it might be my memory.

Hi my PC setup is vurtually the same but mine has 2.5 Ghz and it does slowdown abit on 64 player map I have been told by many people that 1 GIG of RAM will sort it out so i'm going to try that, I think you should aswell.
