Alexroyce forest map, CTD

everytime i try to play the Alexroyce forest map it crashes when the map loads back to desktop......i extracted it here: D:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels

I extracted it to to the folder just as the instructions stated. It is not working for me either. I would really like to see a new map. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Contact the maker of the map, something isn't right with the file he provided.

I have already done so. I am just awaiting a reply. I imagine that there is something incorrect in the files. The map was not a big file so there may be some parts missing, maybe the download client didn't forward all data, maybe this is just a joke...

Whatever the case may be, I hope it gets fixed. I really want to see a new map.

I have recieved a reply from Alex Royce, creator of the map. This is what he had written...

Yup i am getting tons of emails about this, haha. Anyways, the map doesnt function in singleplayer because i have yet to figure out how to create AI data for the map to use. I dont think anyone currently knows, so maps can only be played in multiplayer or else theyll crash. If you still crash when running multi, someone told me that turning your settings higher or lower will fix this. As for the grey screen, i recently learned how to create the minimap so in future maps ill have one for the map. I didnt know how to do it when i was working on this one.
