Tweaking vehicles

Hello
I'm trying to start a small mini-mod. I just want to tweak vehicle speeds right now. I go into the editor, load the bf2 humvee resource, and then try to edit things. All i see is a READ ONLY on the left, and a bunch of stuff that doesn't do anything on the right. Is there a way to edit vehicle speeds?, If you need more info, or would be easier to help, im me at TazMan1688(aim & xfire)

The reason your seeing READ ONLY in the Tweak section of the editor, is due to the files you have extracted from the .zip files have their file permissions set to read only.

You have to uncheck the 'readonly tick box' in the files properties, in windows explorer. (right click on files and select properties at bottom of list).

You can then use the editor to make changes or a quicker way of doing it is editing the .tweak files in notepad or similar

so in order to edit the .con or .tweak files in the editor you have to unzip the files first?
