I can't download Battle Recordings...It says that the server refuce to send the file....What to do?

I keep getting "Error Parsing Server" ... what the hell does that mean ??!?!!!

I either get server refused to send the file or some other thing along the lines of failed to download.

well the reason is that right after you finihs playing a game on bfr thats when you download, becasue if you come back a day or so later the server where that file is kept is deleted to make room, as these bfr files tend to take lots of space, so my best bet is that the files were deleted, so next tiem keep in mind to download them right after you finihs a game on a server with bfr.

I've tried downloading right after, didn't work. It was on some server named "Clone" something. There's very few servers that have Battlerecorder it seems.

I can't download them also for some reason.

Also i've tried to delete them from the battlerecorderlist, they first are deleted but when i restart the game again they are still there. Anyone nows how tho solve this?

I have downloaded the demos from web and copied to My documents\Battlefield 2\profiles\default\demos\

now i tried thru the game, the server holds the proper files, but the client is not working.
"Failed to find the files on the server"

ahh, i know the problem... the demo_rotate script is appending a "\demos" to the target demo dir. remove the "demos" tag from the demo_rotate.cfg

target_root = /home/bf2user/public_html/demos/ <- not good
target_root = /home/bf2user/public_html/

I think it is a little stupid, because the .cfg writes this:
# for local web server; edit this path and make it match the one in serversettings.con

Thanks bbrain, that was the first (and so far only) server I've been able to download the Battle Recorder file. Unfortunately it's not a busy server.

Now if only the playback had rewind and a map.
