"Update server list" and then NO SERVERS?

What gives- do I just need to wait a long time to get the updated list... I hit this button and now no servers show up.

Hey Dude i was just looking for help with this problem . I load the game and get a server list but if i refresh or update the server list then i get a blank . I found that if i uncheck all the filters and do it i get servers but a weird collection that tend to be high ping and a much reduced number. The only thing that fixes it is reloading the game.

I get the same thing, have been getting it for a few weeks...

1st time out - full list, no issues.

refresh, Empty list...

Thank god for clanmates and Xfire...... Not sure what the problem is, I need to close TS and Xfire and see if they effect it...

This has always happened to me, too, since day one if I make any changes to the filters and/or type (and then remove) any text in any of the edit boxes (name/ping/etc.).

The only recourse has been to exit BF2 altogether and restart--simply logging out does not work.

What I find odd is that this has absolutely nothing to do with hardware, so it should be happening to everyone, yet only a very few report it. My only conclusion is that 95% of the players are clueless and dare not ever change the "default" settings. :p

All you have to do is change one of the filters like ranked and then I can get a full list again.
