Playing Offline?

I play on a laptop. Up to now I've always been connected to my router/modem when playing at home. No problems logging on to the server and having fun in single or multiplayer.
When I am travelling, how do I play this game, obviously in singleplayer, without being online? It always asks me to log in and since I'm am not online I obviously can't connect to the server and therefor it doesn't let me play

If you create a singleplayer account then you should be able to play without a connection.
