Unusual error.

I just got this strange looking error whilst trying to launch BF2 - anybody seen it before? Any idea what it means?

I love BF2 errors, because they always say (really) behind them, like hey we aren't kidding.

On topic, never seen it. Have you downloaded anything lately that may have messed with your files?

I think I've got to the bottom of it - because of the way that I started BF2, the working directory was not the same as the .exe location. really.

Ya looks like a video error message "shaders" hummm idk try to reinstall vid drivers and maybe game too.
