UMmm im kinda lost wit this mod thing can anyone explane wut a mod is??

A mod is a game modification. Total conversions completely add new weapons, vehicles, statics etc to the game. Then other mods just load off of a parent mod and change a couple aspects of the game. Mods can be found in your battlefield 2 folder in program files, then open up Mods (If your directory that you installed BF2 in is C:\ (your hard drive unless you have several hd's or storage devices) then you can just copy this C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods). You will notice currently BF2 is in that folder. That is basically the game minus the engine and all files to run the actual game, that is in the base directory. Hope thats a good enough explenation.
